The first step in generating your own MLM leads is to set up a web site. On your website you are not going to mention your product or your company. The purpose of your website is to brand “you.”  You are going to show people what you know by giving them useful information. This will position you as an expert and attract people to you. People are attracted to people who can answer their questions and help them out.

Even if you are new to network marketing and don’t think you know enough, that is ok. Because what I am going to teach you will make you know more than 90 percent of network marketers know.

MLM Leads Step 2

Once you have a website you need to start making a lead list. Your list is going to consist of people who want to follow you and hear what you have to say. The way you get people on your list is by making a lead capture page. A lead capture page is a way to capture the contact information of your visitors which are your MLM leads. The way you do that is by making a capture page on your website. A capture page looks like this. Basically a capture page has a headline some add copy and then an opt-in form where people can enter their contact information in exchange for something of value, like an eBook, or news letter subscription.

Once you have a list of MLM leads you can market to your list. After people opt-in to your list you can establish a relationship with them over time automatically through an auto responder service. Your auto responder will keep track of all the people in your list; it will also send them emails for you automatically. So all you have to do is write a group of email and put them in your auto responder and it will send them out for you.   

By sending people valuable information over time you will begin to build trust with them and position yourself as an expert. People want to join people who can help them get what they want. So showing people you are an expert will make want to join your downline.
